I’m a senior at Purdue University studying UX Design.
To learn more about my background, take a look at my resume.
Designing for Good
I believe in design’s ability to empower others, minimize social inequality, and improve the overall quality of people’s lives. With every design project I take on, I make sure that its mission aligns with this belief of mine in some way, shape, or form.
What I’m up to Now
I’m currently interning at a cybersecurity startup, Securiti, where I’m empowering businesses to collect users’ data in an ethical way. I’m creating a design system that establishes the product’s brand and makes the process of ensuring data privacy less complicated. This experience is giving me insight into all the intricacies that go into making a product with good user experience.
I hope to lead design teams in the future. I believe that effective design leaders are ones that take the time to learn the strengths, weaknesses, and work styles of their teammates in order to create an environment in which everyone feels motivated.
